Our Sales Engineer Steve Peters can suggest coatings for your specific wear or corrosion resistance problem and the appropriate method of application. A variety of materials can be applied to include Tungsten Carbide, Ceramics, Chrome Oxide, Stainless, Aluminum and zinc to name a few. We can finish your wire drums to your specifications. Your wire drums can be re-conditioned to the most demanding tolerances. This ensures that your wire maintains the tolerance specified for assured longevity. For example: applying tungsten carbide will prolong wear and corrosion. It is dense in nature and wear resistant. It is ground to a high surface finish similar to chrome but last 2-3 times longer. Compared to the cost of chrome, tungsten carbide is cost efficient.
